Bruins and Blackhawks Game One Set

The Stanley Cup finals are set to kick off with the Boston Bruins taking on the Chicago Blackhawks on Wednesday, June 12th @ 8:00 on NBC.

The Boston Bruins swept the number seed Pittsburgh Penguins earlier this week in the Eastern Conference finals. The Bruins are playing amazing hockey right now all because of goaltender Tuukka Rask. Rask performance in play offs to this point has been spectacular especially against the Pens who is the number scoring offence going to play. Rask allowed just two goals to score in the finals.

The Chicago Blackhawks continue there red hot season by defeating the reigning Stanley Cup Champion LA Kings 4-1. The Blackhawks have been the best team in the NHL all season as they hope to continue the winning though out the Stanley Cup Finals.

Both the Bruins and Blackhawks are members of the Original Six, this will be the first Stanley Cup Finals since 1979 that two Original Six teams meet up for the Cup.

Game 5 June 22nd, at Chicago 8 PM on NBC

Game 6 June 24th, at Boston 8 PM on NBC

Game 7 June 26th, at Chigago 8 PM on NBC
